Meike Frese

Meike is a co-founder and managing partner at Fährmann Unternehmensberatung GmbH in Munich and Cologne, with a focus on strategy, management and communication on sustainability as well as value-based management and culture. 

She is a senior consultant, trainer and author with wide-ranging experience in setting up and developing sustainability strategies and management, stakeholder engagement, integrated communication as well as reporting on non-financial information. 

Focus points: service industries (IT, finance institutes, publishing), further sector knowledge in the fashion and mining industries. 

Meike is adept at thinking outside the box and combines business necessities with a holistic understanding of viability for the future and successful communication as a basis for transformational processes. Her background is anchored in the Humanities (literature, semiotics, theory of knowledge), with language expertise (translations, editing), an MBA in Sustainability Management from Leuphana University in Lüneburg, Germany, as well as practical experience in sustainability management in companies. She has undertaken many stays abroad of several years in Finland, Sweden and Ireland and is interested in supporting interdisciplinary processes and co-operations which help her develop a broader outlook. Convinced of the importance of volunteering, she does mentoring and personality development, female business empowerment and is a dance trainer for Lindy Hop and Swing.
